Words of despair: My heart is heavy, and the pain is deep; I stay quiet of the feelings that I keep. Under the surface, the darkness fills me and rules my mind. I can’t move past the flaws that are glaringly obvious, that keep me exhausted, that maintain an unworthy pattern of me, me, me.
Words of Hope: I love these lyrics: “Oh, How great is the love of our God, He paid our debts on that rugged cross.” Pastor Adam talked about the power of love at our church. The power of love is revealed in 1 John 4: 17-21. “We rely on God’s love for confidence. This will help us on judgment day. Perfect love casts out all fears.” Love is so powerful. So powerful in fact that He died on a cross for you and to forgive us all of our sins, He is the worthy sacrifice.

“There’s a breakthrough in what is trying to break you (Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah worthy to open the scroll and break the seal)”-Pastor Luskos. He conquered sin and death for you on that old rugged cross.
